We are actively seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse. The LVN implements policies and procedures of Health Care Program in accordance with the state of California regulations and the Nursing Practice Act, and ensures provision of quality nursing care through review and revisions of the established policies and procedures. The LVN works collaboratively with the Interdisciplinary Team and coordinates all health care services as defined by State and Federal regulations provided to the individuals within the homes.

Status: Full Time

The pay range for this position is $38.00 to $38.00.

The regular work schedule is 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. However, as part of this dynamic team, you will be required to work two weekends per month. To ensure a healthy work-life balance, you will flex a day during the week when you work the weekend shift. A typical day will include:
  • Evaluating consumer\xe2\x80\x99s health status by assessing each client as required by regulatory and/or agency policies
  • Writing and maintaining health care plans for new clients upon admission
  • Nursing Assessments and documenting exam findings in electronic health record
  • Reviewing medications with pharmacist
  • Assisting in writing and maintaining medical procedure manuals for group homes
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to be successful:
  • Current California license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
  • 6 months of hands-on experience with persons with developmental disabilities
  • 1 year of post-licensing clinical experience
  • California Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license, current auto insurance, and acceptable DMV driving record

  • Intermediate to Advanced computer skills and operating systems (MS Office, Zoom)
  • Excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal, and organizations skills
  • Are multi-lingual (English, Spanish, Tagalog)
  • Experience using electronic case management systems such as Therap
