JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the MWD Maintenance Supervisor, the LWD Technician is part of a proactive, motivated team. Accountable for safe, efficient, and on time delivery of the LWD and TesTork product lines.
General
\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with policy and procedures (R&M, HSE, Quality and HR).
Health Safety and Environment
\xc2\xb7 Actively participate in the HSE program.
\xc2\xb7 Maintain safe, clean, and organized workspace.
Repair and Maintenance
\xc2\xb7 Disassembly / assembly of LWD and TesTork product line.
\xc2\xb7 Utilize proper measuring equipment for each function.
\xc2\xb7 Safely and efficiently utilize proper tooling to execute LWD and TesTork tool maintenance.
\xc2\xb7 Complete related documentation.
\xc2\xb7 Maintain complete tool maintenance records as required.
\xc2\xb7 Accurately report inventory consumption.
\xc2\xb7 Seek appropriate approval prior for component scrap.
\xc2\xb7 Liaise with supervisors to identify 3rd party repair requirements.
\xc2\xb7 Assure compliance with reliability objectives, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
\xc2\xb7 Some repair and maintenance of plant equipment as required.
\xc2\xb7 Assist with physical asset / inventory counts.
\xc2\xb7 Assist with maintenance of inventory and shop supplies.
\xc2\xb7 Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Quality / Reliability
\xc2\xb7 Reduce service / maintenance related incidents / failures by liaising with management, quality, and reliability personnel:
\xc2\xb7 Participate in Service Quality process:
\xc2\xb7 Analyze incidents / failures to identify root cause.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure timely implementation of corrective actions for incidents / failures.
\xc2\xb7 Actively develop quality culture.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with quality management system.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure utilization of proper measuring equipment for each function.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
\xc2\xb7 High school diploma or equivalent acceptable with two years related experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
\xc2\xb7 Degree or certificate in Geology, Petroleum or Engineering disciplines a plus.
\xc2\xb7 Previous industry experience considered an asset.
\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS
\xc2\xb7 Minimum one year experience in a similar MWD/LWD position.
\xc2\xb7 Previous industry related experience considered an asset.
\xc2\xb7 Comprehension of basic inventory procedures
\xc2\xb7 Computer proficiency in software applications to include MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
\xc2\xb7 Ability to frequently lift and carry 50lbs or more.
\xc2\xb7 Extensive hours of standing (up to 12 hours)
\xc2\xb7 Manual effort and performance of repetitive tasks
\xc2\xb7 Maintain a 24 hour, onfall status and be willing to work overtime when required.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, while paying close attention to details
\xc2\xb7 Computer literacy, including Windows and Microsoft Office experience.
\xc2\xb7 Must be able to effectively coordinate and complete multiple tasks according to various deadlines.
\xc2\xb7 Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
\xc2\xb7 Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
