We are now hiring for a Medical Assistant to become part of our healthcare team offering an excellent patient experience!Position Summary & Highlights:$1500 Sign On Bonus offered to external candidates!In these roles you will assist with the delivery of patient care under the directions of the providers and an RN Supervisor in our busy surgery clinic.What Will You Do:This position will support the General Surgical Services Provider Team or the Colorectal Team which can include other surgical areas.Someone who is flexible and able to multitask will excel in this role.Work Schedule:40 hours per week, Mondays - Fridays, 8:00am - 5:00pm, based on clinic needs.Locations:Boise Clinic, located off of I-184 and Curtis RoadThe Surgical Oncology role will also have outreach once a week to other clinics in the Treasure Valley.Learn more about Surgery Services:Medical Assistant Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent required.MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)American Medical Technologists (RMA)National Healthcare Association (CCMA)National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.For new MA graduates, minimum of 100 hour externship or MA work experience is required.Highlights and BenefitsWhen Saint Alphonsus takes care of you, you can take better care of our patients.
