We are now hiring for three Medical Assistants to become part of our healthcare team offering an excellent patient experience!Position Summary & Highlights:In these roles you will assist with the delivery of patient care under the directions of the providers and an RN Supervisor in our busy surgery clinic.Our surgical teams are experts in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and in advanced subspecialty disciplines including General Surgery, Esophageal Health and Reflux, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Colorectal Surgery and Surgical Oncology.What Will You Do:The position will support the General Surgical Services Provider Team, Bariatrics Provider, or the Surgical Oncology team which can include other surgical areas.Someone who is flexible and able to multitask will excel in this role.Work Schedule:40 hours per week, Mondays - Fridays, 8:00am - 5:00pm, based on clinic needs.Locations:Boise Clinic, located off of I-184 and Curtis RoadSome providers will see patients in an outreach setting at other clinics in the Treasure Valley.Learn more about Surgery Services:Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent required.MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)American Medical Technologists (RMA)National Healthcare Association (CCMA)National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)Completion of either 6 months MA experience or completion of 100-hour MA externship is required even with MA certification.Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.*Obtaining the MA certification typically requires completing an MA Program or working as a Medical Assistant for at least 1 year.
