Night Shift Machine Operator Obetz, OH \xc2\xb7 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life \xc2\xb7 Full-Time Oberfields LLC is currently seeking an individual to work in Production at our Obetz, OH facility. This position will be responsible to operate our Hess 2000 Paver Machine as a Batch Operator in a safe manner. Ideal candidates for our Night Shift Machine Operator position will be mechanically inclined, have a proven history of working with a high degree of accuracy and enthusiasm, ability to perform a wide variety of production support activities and operate production equipment, ability to trouble shoot problems and make repairs as needed, ability to maintain accurate paperwork, ability to operate a forklift and front-end loader. The Night Shift Machine Operator position will report directly to the Plant Manager. Outside of this area, we partner with a qualified network of distributors throughout Ohio and several additional states throughout the country. : \xc2\xa7 Monitor the proper start-up and shutdown of all machinery \xc2\xa7 Operate the batching and mixing system \xc2\xa7 Responsible for running batching per production schedule \xc2\xa7 Be prepared for change overs (next color) by being aware of product next to be batched up to minimize downtime. \xc2\xa7 Notify the Plant Manager of low levels of cement, aggregate, and other supplies \xc2\xa7 Ensure that aggregate bins remain at \xe2\x80\x9crun levels\xe2\x80\x9d and do not run empty \xc2\xa7 Make decisions concerning production when problems arise \xc2\xa7 Monitor all inbound aggregates for production and document on daily paperwork \xc2\xa7 Ensure all equipment is in working order daily; make adjustments accordingly. (Mixer doors clear, hoppers clean, belts clean, batching area is clean and free of debris) \xc2\xa7 Maintain accurate daily production records \xc2\xa7 Perform mold box changes and sizing in of product \xc2\xa7 Capable of helping the cubing line when there is a need to build pallets for production \xc2\xa7 Continuously quality inspect all product that is being made and ensure it is of the highest quality \xc2\xa7 Clean up Machine and Batching area throughout and after shift \xc2\xa7 Assist on cleanup of the entire production area. \xc2\xa7 Empty trash cans and waste hoppers as needed \xc2\xa7 Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and maintain records on a weekly basis \xc2\xa7 Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner. \xc2\xa7 Know and follow all Oberfields LLC and OSHA Safety Procedures \xc2\xa7 Ensure that the correct procedures are being followed for all activities \xc2\xa7 Trouble shoot problems and assist with repairs and maintenance as needed \xc2\xa7 Complete the equipment checklist before operating a forklift or front-end loader \xc2\xa7 Notify the Plant Manager of any problems that develop \xc2\xa7 Good understanding of each job in production Position Qualifications/Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Know and follow all Oberfields LLC and OSHA Safety Procedures \xc2\xb7 Good understanding of each job in Production \xc2\xb7 Ability to make decisions on the fly \xc2\xb7 Proven history of working with a high degree of accuracy and enthusiasm
