The Department of Corrections, Division of Institutions, is recruiting for a Maintenance Generalist Sub-Journey 2 for the Anchorage Correctional Complex (ACC) in Anchorage, Alaska.Watch Alaska DOC's video here:What You Will Be Doing
Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Foreman, this position is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and upkeep of both interior and exterior building components, systems, and structures at the Anchorage Correctional Complex. The role involves maintaining grounds, plants, and external structures, as well as conducting preventative maintenance on essential utilities and fixtures. Additionally, this position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of maintenance machinery and equipment by performing a variety of essential tasks necessary for their smooth functioning.Our Mission, Values, and Culture:
