In the heart of Timonium, Maryland, you\'ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the continuous operation of our cutting-edge machinery that brings flavor to the world. Your mechanical prowess will be put to the test as you diagnose, repair, and optimize our equipment, guaranteeing top-quality spice products for our customers.

salary: $62,400 - $79,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 AM

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various packaging machinery, including conveyor systems, filling machines, labeling machines, and sealing equipment.

Inspect, diagnose, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.

Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of equipment and prevent unexpected breakdowns.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, including motors, sensors, switches, and control panels.

Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure proper calibration and alignment of sensors, actuators, and other control devices.

Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) to optimize equipment performance and maintain safety standards.

Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute to the development of safety improvement initiatives.

Follow industry regulations and company policies related to equipment maintenance, safety, and sanitation.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and scheduled maintenance tasks.

Assist in sourcing and procuring necessary replacement parts and materials.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
