Hard Rock Cafe - Maintenance team member is responsible for executing and supervising daily operations of general maintenance mechanics and managing trades people on assigned shift, relative to corrective, emergency, and preventive maintenance projects. Position reports directly to the General Manager. Other responsibilities:



Create an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Cafe their dining, shopping and entertainment choice Oversee the supervision of maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment of their Hard Rock Cafe. Be hands on, and ensure timely completion of projects by maintenance technicians Perform routine inspections on-site Prepare technical reports and maintain logbooks as required Maintain and apply knowledge of applicable fire, health, safety and environmental standards, as well as relevant state, local, and code React in a timely manner with a sense of urgency to emergency situations Coordinate maintenance and modification projects with appropriate departments to ensure minimal guest interruption. Responsible for the general maintenance on facility equipment and the cosmetic appearance of the overall property.


Facilities Maintenance Responsibilities:



Plumbing Troubleshooting Painting/drywall Air filter change outs and coil cleaning/washing

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS


General woodworking and repair knowledge Must be able to understand the fire panel operation and respond in an alarm condition




SKILLS



Basic plumbing/repairs Basic trouble shooting skills for kitchen and restaurant equipment Basic electrical repairs and ability to identify/perform breaker resets Ability to learn the energy management system and adjust temperature




PHYSICAL DEMANDS



Ability to move throughout the corporate office and cafes during visits (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment Ability to travel via auto or airplane for long periods of time
