Essential Functions:

Must demonstrate ability to work effectively under a substantial workload, time constraints, frequent interruptions, and conflicting and/or shifting priorities.

• Creates work orders for maintenance staff and contractors to complete projects that

require skilled labor. * Coordinates with insurance companies to ensure claims are filed promptly and

accurately. * Performs hands-on maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, electrical work,

carpentry work, or cleaning buildings. * Coordinates with architects and contractors to ensure that construction projects run

smoothly and according to schedule. * Monitors energy usage to detect patterns, and energy consumption to make

recommendations for improvements. * Performs inspections to ensure that building equipment and facilities meet safety

standards. * Oversees day-to-day operations of the repair facility, including scheduling repairs and

monitoring progress on current projects. * Manages inventory of supplies and equipment used in maintenance projects.

• Coordinates with other departments to ensure that building systems are functioning

properly. * Cleans and maintains maintenance shop, storage rooms, mechanical rooms, all power tools, and equipment.

• Undertakes any presented training that may be applicable to maintenance facilities

support. * Availability to travel between facilities.

• Other duties as assigned.

Education and minimum qualification:

• 4+ of experience in maintenance or a related field and demonstrated expertise with a skill or area of knowledge needed for the organization.
• Valid CA driver\'s license
• Possess CPR/First Aid certification (can be obtained upon hire)
• Current TB test and health screen (can be obtained upon hire)

Preferred education and experience:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• OSHA 10 Certification
• Knowledge of maintenance software

Hourly: $31.50-$40.00

The posted pay range is a reasonable estimate that the organization believes in good faith it may pay for this particular job based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Pay may consider several factors including but not limited to internal equity, experience, specialty, training, hours/shifts worked, business need, and education. Pay ranges may be adjusted in the future depending upon many factors including business needs.
