Preferred Skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC problems.
• Familiarity with a range of manufacturing equipment such as stamping presses, robotic welders, CNC lasers, and die casting machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to equipment emergencies as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Ability to maintain and repair machinery as needed.
• Ability to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, mechanical/electrical diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
• Ability to align, fit and assemble component parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties upon request of the supervisor.
• When necessary, participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the job.
• Rebuild gearboxes, spindles, and drill units.
• Read and interpret test equipment such as micrometers, calipers, ball bar tests, etc.
• Understand lock out tag out, confined space entry, hot work permits, operation of powered industrial trucks, operate man lifts and overhead cranes.

• Other duties as assigned.
