Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties in accordance with company standards and safety guidelines to support the goals of the business. They also need to fix stuff when it breaks. This includes Installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining facility equipment and structures. The ideal candidate is a positive, self-motivated, hardworking, and friendly individual.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:

• Saves the day by tracking maintenance Help Desk requests and working requests into daily schedule.
• Manage workflow to ensure deadlines are met, conducting follow-up on outstanding repairs related to prior maintenance visits.
• Obtain materials, equipment and supplies for repairs (This is a great time to whip out those treasure hunting skills).
• Maintain contact with maintenance team & supervisor regarding priorities.
• Ensuring paperwork related to compliance, repairs and maintenance is completed in a timely manner.
• Show the landscaping and parking lots some TLC, as needed.
• Manage safety and hazardous materials, following EPA and DEQ compliance.
• Review assigned goals and progress toward completion.
• Prepare status reports for monthly maintenance meeting.
• Prepare credit card expense reports for Accounts Payable; Review fuel system compliance reports/issues.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:

• Effective time management, as with most things in maintenance, there are a lot of moving pieces!
• Has a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and a passion for sightseeing, as there will be some travel between multiple Stinker locations.
• You don\xe2\x80\x99t have to be a tech guru, but being comfortable using technical equipment such as laptops, cell phones, and remote devices is appreciated.
• Must have a working knowledge of construction and maintenance trades, as well as their applications.
• Armed with knowledge about OSHA, EPA, OPS, ADA, Hazmat, and federal/state regulations- like a walking encyclopedia, but more fun.
• Ability to lift up to 90 lbs., balance on a step stool or step ladder, and is comfortable working from floor to roof level.
