Maintenance Technician - "We are adding another Maintenance Technician to our growing team in Elkhart!"

Are you a hands-on problem-solver with a knack for keeping things running smoothly?

We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Worldwide Foam in LaPorte! In this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making repairs.

Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm mostly, with flexibility as needed

Pay range: $25.50 - $29.00 depending on qualifications and experience (paid weekly)

What You'll Do:

Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment, machinery, and systems. Maintain detailed records of your work. Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems. Repair or replace parts in various systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs. Maintain a clean and safe work environment (indoors and outdoors).

You're a great fit if you have:

2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role. Technical or vocational training in a maintenance-related field. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, scissor lifts, and forklifts. Proficiency with hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and Microsoft Office. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
