Job Description

Logan Property Management is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Technician for The Logan at Jomax, a conventional property in Phoenix, AZ. The Maintenance Technician will ensure a safe, well-maintained, and comfortable living environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance Operations:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
Ensure timely and effective response to maintenance requests from residents.
Assist in the development and implementation of a preventative maintenance schedule to avoid major repairs.
Property Management:
Collaborate with the Community Manager to coordinate maintenance activities.
Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure the property is compliant with all health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address potential hazards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and safety inspections.
Customer Service:
Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Address and resolve resident complaints regarding maintenance issues.
Foster positive relationships with residents and ensure their satisfaction with the maintenance services.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a residential property setting.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in using maintenance software and tools.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Working Conditions:
Location: Onsite at Logan at Jomax (141 units) in Phoenix, AZ.
Hours: Full-time, 8 hours per day, with occasional weekend and evening hours as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, and kneeling.
Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including extreme heat.
Travel: Minimal travel required for training and meetings, including travel between both properties.
