General Maintenance and Repair of Buildings, Facilities and Equipment. Performs a variety of work in the buildings such as electrical, plumbing, painting tasks; performs troubleshooting, repairs of production equipment, compressors, boiler and all other ancillary equipment. Must be able to assist other maintenance technicians and work with production employees to troubleshoot problems. Research, select and order parts and supplies as necessary. Ability to work varying shifts, times, weekends and possible emergency situations. All other as deemed appropriate by Supervisor, Manager, or Lead.

• Carpentry: Performs basic rough and finished carpentry work in construction and repair of structures such as partitions, walls, doors, fences, window frames, office furniture, roofs and shelves.
• Electrical: Performs basic electrical maintenance and repair work in wiring for switches, outlet, plugs, cables, power circuits and appliances; repairs lightening systems; insect electrical systems for uncase conditions.
• Plumbing/Painting: Identifies and performs basic repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks; opens clogged lines and drains; replaces washer and other minor parts; apples and prepares various surfaces for paint, enamel, lacquer, varnish, or stain; repairs wall coverings.
• Hydraulic: General knowledge and troubleshooting skills for valves, pumps, switches, motor and other systems relating to hydraulic equipment.
• Mechanical: General knowledge and troubleshooting skills for belts, drives, sheaves, chain, etc. any other general power transmission system.
• Safety: Knowledge of safety practices within maintenance field.

• Education, Training, and Experience or any combination which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including related work experience in one or more of the building trades.
• Knowledge of: Methods used in maintenance.
• Skill and Ability to demonstrate: Effectively use a variety of hand and power tools; operate a forklift; read blueprints; review and identify projects needed to be serviced by outside contractors; follow oral and/or written instructions; communicate effectively in both oral and written form; maintain work logs; establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work assignments.
