• Be responsible for the sales growth of the commercial Individual and Family products
• Manage the producer sales channel and private and public exchange channels in their assigned market(s)
• Recruit new Producers to sell commercial Individual products
• Develop relationships with assigned General Agencies/Producers to assist them in achieving their sales goals
• Train and monitor agents
• Provide needed support in areas such as contracting, marketing and commissions
• Build relationships with private exchanges to grow market share
• Work closely with Commercial Group Sales to increase growth
• Asist local market management in strategy development

Please note the following important details regarding this position:

• This role will require for you to travel throughout an assigned territory on a weekly basis
• The position will have a territory that covers the States of Oregon and Washington
• Work Week: Monday - Friday
• Providence welcomes residents to apply that live within a daily commutable distance of our office location listed below:

• Oregon: Portland
• This position is affiliated with Providence Health Plan and will be tied to a location and compensation range in Portland, Oregon

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor\'s Degree -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
• 5+ years of experience in health insurance sales
• Required upon request:

• Driving may be necessary as part of this role
• Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving
• Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• 5+ years of experience working with producers
• 5+ years of local market experience, including established producer relations
