The Manager \xe2\x80\x94 Outpatient Crisis Services is
responsible for providing leadership and supervision to the Broadlawns Medical Center Crisis Observation Center and Behavioral Health Urgent Care. The Manager ensures that both programs offer quality, well coordinated crisis and urgent care services for their behavioral health needs. This position provides supervision to the RN Coordinator Team Lead as well as all positions housed within both services. The Manager \xe2\x80\x94 Outpatient Crisis Services reports indirectly to the associated Section Chief and Behavioral Health AVP.ScheduleUsually Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pQualifications 1. Bachelor\'s degree in behavioral health or closely-related field or current Iowa license as a Registered Nurse.
2. Five years direct experience working with individuals with serious and persistent mental health diagnoses.
3. Two years supervisory experience.
4. Possess the leadership skills to support excellence initiatives and program evaluation.
5. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
6. Computer competence.
7. Skilled in de-escalation process following BMC procedures.
