Team or Function Overview

The Siplast Strategic Marketing Team partners with Siplast stakeholders to provide customer-focused digital and traditional marketing initiatives that are tightly aligned with the market development efforts of our product and technology leaders, driving segment growth.

Summary

The Strategic Marketing Manager is a key member of the Siplast Strategic Marketing Team and will be responsible for setting the promotion and communications strategy to drive loyalty of Siplast products within defined business segments. He/she will be tightly aligned with the market development efforts of our product and technology leaders, driving segment growth within the area of focus. He/she will lead our demand creation and demand capture efforts, while supporting sales and business development efforts in the defined business segments. He/she will work to ensure these marketing efforts are strategically aligned with driving engagement and revenue. The Strategic Marketing Manager collaborates across the organization to help define strategies that support the business unit\xe2\x80\x99s annual objectives as well as the longer term (3-5 year) strategy, and in doing so he/she will design marketing campaigns that create awareness, generate and capture demand, support new product launches and accelerate key business segment initiatives. In addition to defining the marketing strategy, the Strategic Marketing Manager will have direct involvement in managing the tactical execution of campaigns and product launch elements owned by marketing.

Essential Duties

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

\xe2\x97\x8f Develop and lead execution of strategic marketing plans to support the business unit\xe2\x80\x99s key initiatives and growth goals, inclusive of product commercialization support.

\xe2\x97\x8f Generate demand through a broad mix of digital and traditional channels, and measure results against key metrics.

\xe2\x97\x8f Coordinate with in-house Siplast or other GAF resources, and/or external resources to develop and deploy targeted campaigns, develop/execute SEO content, blog content, sales enablement tools, earned media, PR and other digital/traditional marketing tactics in support of strategic plans.

\xe2\x97\x8f Develop annual marketing budget; responsible for managing annual spend

\xe2\x97\x8f Monitor and analyze competitive activity as well as available third party and proprietary data to inform business strategy decisions and adjust strategies as appropriate to maximize share growth; lead market research efforts where appropriate

\xe2\x97\x8f Support trade show activities; collaborate with Associate Tradeshow and Event Specialist, business development manager(s), and related vendors

\xe2\x97\x8f Provide product commercialization support to defined business segments and coordinate launch efforts with various other Siplast personnel

Physical Demands

\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to frequently converse with and convey information to others on the phone and in-person

\xe2\x97\x8f Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment and keyboards

\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to move up to 10 lbs. occasionally and up to 30 lbs. rarely

\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor\'s degree preferably in Marketing, Digital Marketing or related field

\xe2\x97\x8f Strong background and understanding of Commercial Construction and the Building Envelope

\xe2\x97\x8f Experience in developing content to support traditional and digital marketing campaigns to specific audiences. Experience assessing, developing and executing sales enablement tools.

\xe2\x97\x8f Process oriented in terms of project management and on-time delivery.

\xe2\x97\x8f Strong background in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office

\xe2\x97\x8f Travel: up to 25%

\xe2\x97\x8f Experience in the construction industry with architects, consultants, contractors

\xe2\x97\x8f Strong project management skills

\xe2\x97\x8f Self starter with attention to detail and accuracy; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects within timelines.

\xe2\x97\x8f Some experience with Salesforce, Google Analytics and Eloqua, to enhance strategic marketing efforts

\xe2\x97\x8f Strong communication skills - written and verbal, as well as leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams/tasks and interface with various Siplast and GAF personnel

Annual Salary Range: 104,000-143,000
