In partnership with the Senior Manager- Strategic Partnerships, the Manager will play a key role in meeting/exceeding retail monetization goals by successfully managing the strategic relationship with existing vendor partners, optimizing in-store assets, and ensuring CVS is poised for profitable growth. This role requires relationship management with business partners both outside CVS and within our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing relationships with vendors/agencies and have a clear understanding of branded CPG/Pharma equity messaging strategy.
This role will specifically be responsible for the following:
Liaison with external Retail Monetization partners
Ability to guide vendor partners to prioritize activities that drive CVS profitability while protecting the shopping experience
Understand the primary B2B functions of CPG and/or Pharmaceutical manufacturers seeking to secure advertising and equity messaging in CVS retail stores
Facilitate management of in-store assets, including store operations and store communications
Responsible for managing content with Retail Monetization partners, reviewing creative assets to ensure they meet our store experience strategy goals and brand standards
Evaluate and continuously enhance processes for monetization asset development, deployment, and compliance to improve speed to market and customer experience
Manage and develop strong, collaborative relationships with Business Partners across the organization closely partnering with marketing, creative, store operations, merchandising, construction, and other partners as needed
Apply \'lessons learned\' and continuously improve the way that work is developed and delivered, providing feedback, and implementing changes to optimize internal processes
Act as an independent self-starter and anticipate requests to proactively execute projects and initiatives
Required Qualifications
4+ years of vendor or agency management experience with a track record of driving growth and profitability.
\xc2\xb72+ years of experience in leveraging analytics in fact-based story design
Preferred Qualifications
Background in one or more of the following roles: Retail Monetization, CPG Shopper Marketing, CPG Category Management, CPG National/Regional Accounts Management
Ability to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of business goals/needs
Shown initiative to determine patterns, trends, a KPIs that positively and negatively impact business performance.
Communicates effectively at all levels, across departments, and with business partners
Possess the ability to adjust interaction and communications styles for different audiences and situations
Consistently demonstrates professionalism, reliability, accountability, and flexibility, in working with other
Must enjoy working at a fast pace and cope well under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills including flexibility, collaboration, a high level of motivation and the ability to work as part of a team as well as an individual contributor
Decisive and effective problem-solving ability with an understanding of how to effectively escalate problems or concerns to management
Education
Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent (HS Diploma + 4 yrs experience) Required
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$69,300.00 - $149,600.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
