The Head of Fixed Income, Managing Vice President of the Fixed Income Group, will be responsible for leading and expanding the fixed income division, driving business growth, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality investment solutions to clients. This leader will oversee the activities of Fund/Portfolio managers and analysts in the Group, with an emphasis on Stable Value portfolios and oversight of proprietary funds and strategies offered by the organization.


Essential Functions for this role include:




Develop and implement a comprehensive fixed income strategy aligned with the firm's overall business objectives and CIO's philosophy. Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive growth and profitability. Collaborate with senior management to set long-term goals and objectives for the fixed income division. Board presentations as required Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients (Defined Contribution), including pension funds, Managed Models, Broker/Dealers. Lead efforts to attract new clients and expand the firm's fixed income product offerings. Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to promote fixed income products and services. Mentor and manage a high-performing team of fixed income professionals. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation and excellence. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to team members. Oversee the management of fixed income portfolios, ensuring adherence to investment guidelines and risk management policies. Monitor market trends and economic indicators to inform investment decisions. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide clients with detailed reports and insights. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies. Implement robust risk management practices to safeguard client assets and the firm's reputation. Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry standards

If you have the following skills, we encourage you to apply:




MBA or master's degree in finance, Economics, or a related field. Fifteen years of investment experience. Professional designations such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) FINRA series 6, 7 or 65 preferred or willingness to obtain licensing. Proficiency in financial modeling and quantitative analysis. Experience with fixed income analytics software and trading platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters). Experience in both buy-side and sell-side fixed income markets. Understanding of global fixed income markets, including emerging markets. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients. Experience in client presentations and investment committee meetings.
