We are actively seeking an Manufacturing Assembly Business Area Manager to join our team in Fargo. In this role you will be responsible for planning, implementation and maintenance of the manufacturing activities of a specific area. The manager ensures the effective use of materials, equipment and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day operational activities revolving around throughput, safety, and quality.
• Enlist support of production supervisors and manufacturing engineers, to oversee 200+ production workers regarding manufacturing operation activities.
• Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet marketplace demand.
• Sets up equipment operation feed, speed and temperature.
• Follows established procedures and drives continuous improvement in the plant\'s manufacturing processes, including fabrication, welding, paint and/or assembly.
• Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing.
• Resolves issues related to the organization\'s production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations on day shift and night shift.
• Oversee day shift and night shift supporting appropriate production areas.
• Support all appropriate production areas.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:

• Bachelor\'s degree plus 5 or more years of supervisory experience, including experience with welding, fabrication, manufacturing and assembly.
• OR Associates degree plus 8 or more years of supervisory experience, including experience with welding, fabrication, manufacturing and assembly.
• OR High School Diploma/GED plus 10 or more years of supervisory experience, including experience with welding, fabrication, manufacturing and assembly.
• At least 5 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred qualifications:

• Demonstrated leadership ability.

The salary range for this position is $93,000 to $142,000. (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
