The Pactiv Evergreen Pine Bluff Paper Mill is located in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, less than an hour from Little Rock in scenic southeast Arkansas. It is the largest industrial employer in Jefferson County. Opened in 1958, Pine Bluff is the largest facility within Evergreen Packaging and is home to the world\'s largest gable-top liquid packaging paperboard machine. In addition to producing paperboard for cartons, the facility also produces coated paper for magazines.

Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Process Engineer

Effectively fulfill process engineering demands of a paper mill operating or maintenance department. Primary focus will be in process optimization, coordination of trials, and process improvements.

\xc2\xb7 Assist with shutdowns, start-ups, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Networking with vendors and operators

\xc2\xb7 Recommending new chemicals and equipment

\xc2\xb7 Monitoring key variables

\xc2\xb7 Collecting and analyzing data

\xc2\xb7 Collaborating with engineers, managers, operators

\xc2\xb7 Working independently

\xc2\xb7 Working in teams

Requirements:

Recent or upcoming graduate with B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Paper Science Engineering

\xc2\xb7 Preferably 1 or more internship(s) an industrial / manufacturing setting

\xc2\xb7 Desire and capability to work in manufacturing for a long-term career

\xc2\xb7 Strong computer skills

\xc2\xb7 Prefer hands-on assignments. Expect to spend 50% of time out in the mill

\xc2\xb7 Exhibit excellent interpersonal & communications skills

\xc2\xb7 Highly self-motivated, but able to work with teams

\xc2\xb7 Willingness to teach and train others

\xc2\xb7 Proven leadership skills

\xc2\xb7 Good interpersonal & communications skills
