What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Work On:\xe2\x80\x8b
  • Production of raw materials for polymers with processes involving 2 step reactions, distillation and filtration.
  • Production of polymers including the following processes: stripping, dispensing, mixing, degassing, reacting, curing, granulating, extruding, and pelletizing.
  • Follow set procedures to set up, run, tear down, and clean appropriate equipment. Conduct in-process testing and provide appropriate samples to quality lab for testing.
  • Collect, record, and communicate process batch data.
  • Assist with maintenance on production equipment.
  • Assist with facility maintenance, keeping it clean and organized.
  • Assist with inventory management, hazardous waste, shipping, and receiving of materials.
  • Assist with process improvement such as scrap reduction, cycle time reduction, setup reduction, and other continuous improvement.
  • Create new documents and update existing document using the EDM system.
  • Execute equipment qualification, test method validation, and process qualification protocols.
  • Elevate productivity and quality concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support safety initiatives.
  • Order production tooling and supply items.
  • Interact with other departments and suppliers as required.
  • Provide support to peers.

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree and 0-2+ years experience
\xe2\x80\x8b

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 year technical degree is desired.
  • Medical Device experience a plus.
  • Ability to write and review technical documents is preferred.
  • Experience in a regulated device or pharmaceutical environment is desired.
  • Knowledge of ISO, FDA, GMP guidelines is desired.
  • Understand and utilize lean principles (5S, Kaizen) is preferred.
  • Handle up to 50 pounds and physical dexterity to assemble and operate large equipment.
  • Ability to learn new tasks, new concepts, and new applications.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to multi-task and work with limited direction/supervision.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to read and understand written procedures and follow directions.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively with others.
  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-divisionbusiness unit model preferred.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
  • Support all Divisional initiatives as identified by divisional management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
