Marketing Manager

Job Summary: StoragePug is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our exciting tech startup here in Knoxville, TN. We build high-converting websites to help independent self storage operators compete with national, publicly-traded competitors and provide amazing experiences for their customers.

Being focused, adaptable, and strategic are a must. You should have a deep understanding of major marketing channels, best practices, and be able to lead a team of marketing professionals in their respective specialities.

Top candidates will be critical thinkers with fantastic communication skills, excellent time management, and meticulous attention to detail. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be managing the direction, strategy, and implementation of our marketing efforts with our marketing team \xe2\x80\x93 learning the ins and outs of storage owners, customers, and becoming an expert in the industry at large.

Role & Essential Responsibilities:

Your week-to-week will be a mix of managing your team and tackling larger, longer term projects. The Marketing Team handles a range of tasks \xe2\x80\x93 creating content, sending emails, hosting and attending events, and capturing new leads. Your job is to review your teams work and make sure we\xe2\x80\x99re all aligned in the same direction.

As the Marketing Manager, your the first call and the last line of defense for whatever is coming in or out of StoragePug. Expect to juggle a lot of projects and details at once, both short term and long term.

A successful Manager helps us plan and execute our marketing strategies, ultimately driving new opportunities to our Sales team and owning the customer journey \xe2\x80\x93 start to finish. You will:

• Champion the overall marketing strategy of StoragePug and our positioning in the industry
• Ensure the StoragePug brand experience, design, and communication is up to the highest standard across all channels \xe2\x80\x93 in and out of our customer base
• Manage and support the Marketing Teams\xe2\x80\x99 quality, alignment, and growth
• Be our content coordinator, making sure the content we produce is relevant, driving traffic, and educating the industry
• Help us stay on the cutting edge of B2B marketing best practices and strategies

Bonus Points:

• Hands-on experience with HubSpot
• Experience in the self storage industry
• Experience using design tools (like Canva or Adobe Suite).

Qualifications and Qualities:

• Degree Required in Marketing
• Impeccable attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Experience organizing projects and keeping teams on a timeline
• World-class written and verbal communication skills.
• Work at our office in Knoxville, TN.

• Salary Range: 80-90K annual
