SUMMARY

This role leads and supports marketing pursuits for Kier + Wright\xe2\x80\x99s special projects, including our new affiliated company KW Renewable Engineering. Working closely with the Marketing Team, this person will organize, coordinate, and support all aspects of marketing efforts. The individual will be able to represent the firm to clients, professional organizations, and industry partners.

This position can be filled in any of our office locations (Livermore, Santa Clara, Sacramento, Irvine).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads the marketing efforts for KWRE to win new projects and expand the business.
• Directs the preparation of marketing collateral (proposals, qualifications and presentations).
• Develops and implements local marketing and BD strategy.
• Collaborates with Leaders to develop and implement marketing and BD practices, strategies, and initiatives.

• Manages the Go/No-Go process with local leadership.
• Collaborates with Communications Manager to develop and execute a strategic communications plan.
• Collaborates with Knowledge Manager to create diverse, multi-functional content.
• Laise with the Digital Asset Manager to ensure all digital assets necessary to create dynamic marketing materials are procured, in addition to collaborate on the creation of service and product videos.
• Maintains library of resumes and project specific content.

• Manages and contributes to all marketing database systems.
• Performs other tasks and responsibilities as may be required.

• Directly supervises, trains and mentors staff. Engages in talent strategy to find future professionals through resume review and interviews.
• Actively engages in internal and external professional development opportunities.

• Develops and/or manages a work plan to achieve the project budget, deliverables, and schedule.
• Encourages incorporation of sustainable strategies in all project assignments.
• Coordinates and supports business development, public relations, and marketing opportunities.

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required

• 5 years of marketing management + 8 years of professional services marketing or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities
• Broad knowledge of marketing strategy, business development, and the A/E/C industry
• Ability to write creatively, meet high graphic standards and produce effective materials
• Experience developing content for new market sectors, service lines or start-ups a plus
• Proficiency with various software\xe2\x80\x99s: Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, AEC 360 and OpenAsset, etc.

• Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong management, people and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work prolonged periods of time of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; ability to lift and/or carry items up to 10 lbs; occasional driving and/or travel.
