As a franchise planning and operations intern, you\xe2\x80\x99ll join the team leading the charge in bringing to life a wide spectrum of dynamic projects, engaging communications, and inspiring collaboration initiatives.
This is a part-time position. If selected for the role, you will report to the VP, Brand and Creative Operations.
What You Will Do
Your role is all about helping to shape the future of our iconic franchises and programs. Where you will:
Support and facilitate high-level franchise and program planning while meticulously adhering to brand guidelines, ensuring a seamless alignment of strategies and execution of initiatives.
Coordinate and plan cross-functional meetings, ensuring that various departments collaborate effectively.
Create and develop engaging presentations to convey our brand and franchise strategies.
Summarize and report on the most relevant insights from weekly reports, helping drive brand and franchise decisions.
Contribute to copywriting efforts, including crafting internal brand communications and creating compelling content for licensing initiatives.
Provide essential office logistics and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Franchise and Operations team.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Strong Copywriting Skills: Rock-solid copywriting skills to craft engaging content.
Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Presentation Creation: Proficiency in crafting presentations in Keynote.
Adobe Creative Suite Familiarity: A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat.

Clear Communication and Eye for Detail: You\'re a pro at clear communication and have an eagle eye for details.

Efficient Project Follow-up: You\'re quick and efficient when following up on projects and communications.
Top-Notch Organizer: Your organizational skills are top-notch, helping keep everything running smoothly for the Brand and Franchise team.
Preferred Qualifications
Marvel Enthusiast: While not a strict requirement, a genuine interest in and knowledge of the world of the Marvel brand is a bonus. Your passion for the industry can enhance your ability to contribute effectively.
Design Skills: Design skills are highly sought after for presentations and can enhance your suitability for the position.
Education
Undergraduate students in their senior year in (or recently graduated within the past six months) pursuing a bachelor\'s degree in Business or related field.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
The approximate dates of this internship are January 2024 through June 2024.
Candidate must be available to work part-time hours (approximately 21-29 hours per week) during normal business hours Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday.
This internship is a primarily on-site position. You must be able to provide own housing and reliable transportation in the New York, NY area. The pay rate for this internship in New York is $21.70 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
