Match Support Specialist
Part-Time (29 hours/week) $14.50/hour
SCHEDULE: (Determined on a case by case basis)
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Responsible for conducting match support phone calls while providing supervision, follow-up and support in case load. Assists with special events, as program representative.
1. Provide supervision, follow-up, and support for all matches in the case load. Refer short-term crisis intervention to the Program Director as needed.
2. Keep accurate and timely case notes on each contact with volunteers, youth, family, and other significant people in each case.
3. Complete volunteer reference checks.
4. Complete volunteer and client reassessments as requested by the program director.
5. Under the direction of the Program Director, plan, coordinate, and supervise monthly group activities for volunteers and youth in the program.
6. Assist as needed in coordinating and/or implementing special events such as training sessions, orientation meetings for volunteers, group supervision sessions, and fund-raising events.
7. Complete volunteer and client intake screening.
8. Complete administrative duties as assigned by program director
9. Share in general office housekeeping to keep the work environment pleasant.
10. Perform all duties in a timely manner.
11. Represent the program to the public in a positive and energetic manner.
12. Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements.
13. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Valid Ohio Driver\'s License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability.
2. Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal back ground check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation).
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least a Bachelor\'s degree.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Some experience in social services.
