job summary:
A Material Coordinator is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Paton, IA area. This position involves coordinating material flow, inventory management, and production schedules within a manufacturing department, addressing shortages, facilitating continuous improvement, and ensuring smooth operations.

salary: $17.25 - 23.44 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: High School

responsibilities:

• Coordinate department(s) schedule performance for material procurement and movement.

• Ensure production personnel have necessary parts for product manufacturing.

• Oversee and maintain accurate inventory levels.

• Investigate and address root causes of material shortages.

• Utilize the Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules.

• Process transactions for inbound and outbound materials.

• Audit material replenishment cycles and accuracy.

• Create material replenishment plans as needed.

• Experience working with SAP.

• Experience with Supply Management.
