YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform soil, concrete, grout, masonry, and asphalt tests
Prepare detailed and complete field reports with all relevant test results and observations
Communicate with clients, contractors, and engineering and technician staff regarding construction issues
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
2-5 years of experience
Mid-Atlantic Region Technician Certification Program (MARTCP) certifications, including Soils & Aggregate Compaction Technician, Asphalt Field Technician, Concrete Field Technician, and Pavement Marking Technician
Nuclear Gauge Safety and Hazmat Training
A high school diploma or a high school equivalence certification
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to lift technician equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
Ability to walk over rough and uneven terrain and be able to stand up to 12 hours a day on occasion
The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and twist; use hands to grasp; use arms to reach; raise hands above the head; sit; climb; and balance
Strong attention to detail
