BME Fire Trucks is seeking a proactive and organized Materials Coordinator to join our Inventory team. This role will be essential in tracking parts and materials as they progress through the manufacturing process, ensuring items reach their next stage accurately and on time. The Materials Coordinator will work closely with various departments to manage material flow, maintain records, and enhance operational efficiency, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout the manufacturing process.



Your responsibilities will include:



Tracking parts as they progress through manufacturing, using Global Shop Solutions ERP and tracking spreadsheets.

Collaborating with department leads and team members to ensure parts are processed and moved efficiently and reach the appropriate next stage.

Working with Management to maintain consistent and accurate parts data, reporting any discrepancies or delays.

Assisting in the coordination of material and part needs across departments, communicating promptly with the necessary teams.

Supporting quality assurance initiatives, verifying parts and materials when needed to maintain accuracy and quality.



Requirements:

Qualifications



What it takes to catch our eye:



1-2 years of experience in inventory management, materials handling, or a similar role.

Familiarity with ERP systems.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication abilities, with the ability to coordinate across departments effectively.
