Location: Riverview, MI, 48193
:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Math Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching math to students in grades 9-12. The Math Teacher will be responsible for creating lesson plans, grading assignments, and providing feedback to students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a passion for teaching.Responsibilities:
- Create lesson plans and deliver instruction to students in grades 9-12
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop curriculum and instructional materials
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in math education
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Mathematics or related field
- Valid teaching certification in the state of Michigan
- Experience teaching math to high school students
- Strong knowledge of mathematics and ability to teach a variety of math courses
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
