Job Description

The Mechanic Assembler in Westbrook, Maine is responsible for assembly and disassembly of sub components during the manufacturing process of transmissions or differentials. This position is excellent for individuals with a mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and an eagerness to be part of a high-performing team. You will have a solid understanding of how to follow standard work and defined operating procedures, while maintaining safety, quality and efficiency as top priority. Successful candidates will have a basic manufacturing background and experience and mechanical ability working with different tools and equipment This is a full time position.

Mechanic Assembler Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Basic operational knowledge shop equipment and tooling

An ability to identify opportunities in the manufacturing processes and to contribute ideas for operational improvement

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Ability to work on feet for at least 8 hours

Must have high awareness of personal safety and the safety of others and strictly follow safety policies

Dependable, punctual and self-motivated

Mechanic Assembler Details

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m, Friday 7:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m

Pay Rate: $23/Hr.

Start Date: ASAP
