DECO TRUSS with Raymond Building Supply, a Division of USLBM is seeking a Full Time Truss Mechanic for our Homestead, FL Location

Founded in 1983, Deco Truss serves framing and building contractors for residential, multi-family and commercial projects. In addition to manufacturing all types of truss systems, Deco Truss also provides lumber, decking and roofing materials, rebar, millwork and doors, fencing supplies, tools, hardware and more to customers. Deco Truss operates an 8.5-acre manufacturing plant and retail location in Miami and will operate as a unit of US LBM\'s Raymond Building Supply.

Wage: This is an hourly position with a potential to make up to $41,600 - $65,780 Annually

The position itself is paid hourly, on a weekly basis, with full time hours and overtime opportunity plus a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment.

Essential Job Duties:

• Maintain work area; maintain all equipment in a clean, safe working condition
• Follow all instructions and guidelines as outlined by direct supervisor
• Perform preventive diagnosis, maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs as directed by direct supervisor
• Make manufacturing and industrial equipment repairs according to manufactures specifications
• All repairs must be made in compliance with established procedures
• Maintain and complete all equipment records in neat and orderly fashion
• Assist in cleaning shop when needed
• Maintain tools and equipment in the safest manner possible, inspect equipment daily
• Must know how to operate all equipment utilized in assigned location or group of locations
• Complies with Company\'s attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance
• Assist in other areas as assigned by location management
• Monitor, maintain, and update warehouse equipment parts inventory as needed
• Train associates as needed

Truss Mechanic Skills and Requirements:

• 1 -3 years of mechanic & general maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of machinery, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems is a must
• Physical demands include working outside in working conditions that vary depending on seasons. Temperature variations and inclement weather are real aspects of the work environment. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs as needed, spend long amounts of time sitting, stooping, reaching, bending, climbing, standing or walking. Overtime may be required
• Other qualities: Reliability and a team player
