Mechanic
Responsibilities
Mechanic responsibilities include:
- Diagnose, rebuild and repair vehicles and equipment
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Truck tire handling and repair
- Iron work with torch cutting and welding
- Occasionally ordering parts
- Operation of a forklift
- Prepare and maintain records and reports
Mechanic
Candidate should have one to five years of experience and/or training in vehicle/construction equipment repair and maintenance shop or any combination of education, training and experiences that demonstrates the ability to preform the duties of the position. Must be able to work efficiently in a busy environment independently. Attention to detail and pride in your work is a must. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Work extended hours outdoors in a variety of weather conditions out of service van. CDL preferred but not required.
