job summary:
An established digital display LED sign manufacturer is seeking a direct-hire Mechanical Design Engineer. This position is located in Las Vegas, NV. The Mechanical Design Engineer will collaborate with creative and cross-functional disciplines in a multi-project design/production environment.

Salary is commensurate with experience ranging up to $125K, plus other great benefits! All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program

• Minimum 3 years\' Mechanical Design experience in a professional engineering position that requires performing an integral role in product development activities from concept through production.

• Proficiency with SolidWorks and MS Office

responsibilities:
- Works closely with engineering, design and NPI teams to design and develop new and existing products that meet performance specifications, deadlines and cost goals.

- Participates in design visualization efforts by creating 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models to explore multiple design options.

- Creates functional and manufacturable designs from concept sketches by applying mechanical design approaches and parameters for physical production design; applying standard concepts, practices and procedures and using various metals, glass composites, elastomeric materials and plastics.
