Responsibilities

Revolution is now hiring an experienced Mechanical Electrician in the Vernon, CA facility. This role will be responsible to install, inspect, maintain, altar, and repair electrical lines, equipment and apparatus; and to do related work as required.

• Install, alter, maintain and repair electrical wiring, apparatus and equipment for communication, lighting, heating, and power appliances, and machinery while adhering to all City, State and Federal policies.
• Use modern electrical test instruments to troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment and make needed repairs.
• Review plans, blueprints, and specifications for electrical projects.
• Recommend project changes and define detailed project tasks, estimate time, labor, and material costs.
• Purchase parts and supplies according to state rules and regulations while maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4-year apprenticeship program/ Current State Electrician license.
• 2 + years of electrical experience in industrial environment.
• Education: Associates Degree in Industrial Engineering or relevant field.
• Necessary math skills- Addition, subtraction, and multiplication to record accurate reports.
• Must be able to climb stairs and work from secured platforms.
• Ensure all safety and precautionary measures are met by adhering to company and state policy and federal regulations.
• Must have a flexible rotating schedule.
• Display great troubleshooting skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices, techniques, tools, equipment and materials used in the electrician trade.
• Displays a working knowledge of safety codes enforced through the State.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Ability to handle high voltage wires.

California Pay Transparency: Base Range $29.00 -$35.00/hour + Overtime + Shift Differential + Benefits + PTO
