Our Grenada location in Mississippi, United States is currently seeking talent to fill the position of Mechanical Maintenance Planner. This job is permanent, full-time.

Primary Purpose

Plan for mechanical jobs throughout the mill - Paper Machine, F/S, TMP, Utilities, & Woodyard Department, following Resolute Best Maintenance Practices. Provide technical assistance to mechanical technicians, coordinate and procure parts and equipment for the onsite contractor and plan safety in every job.

Duties And Responsibilities * Provide planning and scheduling for the mechanical maintenance department. Plan safety in every job package.

Work with other maintenance and production groups through the safety advocacy process to optimize the mill\'s safety effort. Identify and provide any necessary training for technicians to achieve goals. Perform necessary site visits to produce a quality job package.

• Adhere to Resolute Best Maintenance practices by attending daily scheduling

meetings and working with Operations to manage resource allocation. Review completed job packets, and take appropriate action on feedback.

• Interface with maintenance and operations to develop short-term and long-term maintenance plans and projects. Provide technical assistance as needed to optimize equipment reliability in all areas. Foster continuous improvement opportunities.

• Represent Resolute in dealing with outside Maintenance contractors and vendors as required and perform required administrative duties.

• Will be expected to assume responsibility for on-call weekend duty rotation and be available to assist on nights, weekends and holidays if an urgent need arises.

Knowledge and experience

• 8+ years Maintenance experience in a multi-craft environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Rotating Equipment including pumps, gearboxes, agitators, bearings and packing.
• Detailed understanding of planning and scheduling process.
• High level of verbal and written skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to coordinate multiple processes.
• Good problem-solving, organization, financial, training, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule, assign, coordinate, and follow-up on multiple jobs on a daily basis.
• Able to respond effectively to changing work situations and priorities.
