Come be part of the team as a Student Assistant.This student will provide technical and administrative support for the Office of Future Mobility and Electrification (OFME) team. Duties will include working closely with the OFME team to contribute to projects aimed at promoting mobility and economic vitality throughout the state of Michigan. This includes, but is not limited to: supporting the MI Future Mobility Plan, the Mobility Futures Initiative, and the Michigan Mobility Funding Platform (MMFP), as well as understanding community and industry mobility needs and trends.The Student Assistant will dive deep into the implications of technology on industry and local communities, especially how it pertains to Michigan\'s place in the changing automotive and mobility landscape. They will have the ability to do tech scouting, corporate venture research and evaluations of key industry players, all while keeping an eye/monitoring new and existing policies and community initiatives that are emerging in support of the change to connected, autonomous, and electric vehicles.View the full position descriptionNote: Funding for this student position is approved through May 2025.
