Several of them serve as chief of gastroenterology at nearby hospitals, and a number of them have been recognized as top-quality physicians in publications, including but not limited to: Best Doctors in America and Top Doctors New Jersey, and US News Health - US News & World Report.We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-time Medical Assistant and Receptionist at All Island Gastroenterology & Liver Associates at Rockville Center New YorkThe Medical Assistant and Receptionist provides:

• Assistance to Physicians and services and care to patients including escorting patients to exam rooms.
• Provides assistance to Physicians and services and care to patients including escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining and recording vitals and patient history, PIF charts, other clerical duties, EMR data entry and handling telephone calls.
• Requires a positive approach, ability to multi-task, flexibility and a keen understanding of policies and procedures.

The Medical Assistant and Receptionist must have the following qualifications and experience:

• High School graduate or GED.
• 1 plus year of medical office experience required
• Medical Assistant certification required
• bilingual in Spanish a plus
