Overview:Quincy Medical Group (QMG) has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Assistant Float to join our team. QMG is a multi-specialty group practice with over 155 physicians and providers serving West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri. With over 85 years of leadership in healthcare, QMG continues to set the standard in transforming patient care. Responsibilities:As a Medical Assistant Float in Primary Care, you will have the unique opportunity to work across multiple departments within the clinic, providing essential support to physicians and advanced practice providers. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, and supporting administrative functions such as scheduling and patient documentation. You will help maintain a smooth and efficient workflow across different departments, ensuring patients receive the highest quality care.This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at our Quincy, IL location. However, the schedule may vary based on the department you are covering. Qualifications:The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent patient care. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to quickly shift between tasks and departments as needed.A high school diploma or GED is required. Medical Assistant certification is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
