:Baptist Heath Medical GroupMedical AssistantGastroenterologySt. Matthews areaFull Time First ShiftEligible for $2000 SignOn BonusThe Medical Assistant III assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the physician/provider. Areas of clinical practice include patients of all ages in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and most Specialty Practices. Key accountabilities include:Assists physician with all tasks associated with patient care as requested, within the scope of practice and certification.Interacts with patients, patient family and caregivers in a professional and courteous manner.Assists other clinical personnel as needed and interacts with the other healthcare providers to facilitate a smooth continuum of care.Assists with coverage of Patient Access areas.Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures/Certifications/Registrations Required:Applicant must have graduated from one or more of the following programs and have a current certificate or license in that area:Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program with current CMA certification from AAMA, AMT or NCCT.Graduate of an approved practical nursing program with current Kentucky LPN Licensure.Graduate of an accredited RN program with current Kentucky RN Licensure.Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate.Computer skills preferred.Medical Assistant, MA, CMA, Certified Medical Assistant, Clinical, Office, Clinic, RMA, Registered Medical Assistant, RN, Registered Nurse, LPNIf you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!Baptist Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
