Medical Assistant/receptionist
Job Description
Greet Patients Chiropractic assistants serve as the face of the practice and are responsible for greeting patients, checking them in to their appointments, and maintaining an orderly waiting room. They also escort patients to exam areas and explain any required procedures to prepare the patient for their treatment. The assistant will also answer phones, take patient payments, verify insurance benefits, and schedule patients. Take Diagnostic Information Chiropractic assistants help to keep patient information up to date to assist the chiropractor with their examination and treatment plans for patients, such as taking blood pressure, temperature, weight, and height. Medical Procedures The assistant will be trained to apply electrotherapies, apply cold laser therapy, apply moist heat, monitor patients while being on therapy. The applicant will also be trained to perform x-rays. Environment The new assistant will work side by side primarily with 3 other assistants and 5 chiropractors. There are other health professionals in the facility as well. No experience necessary as all training will be provided. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits:
