We're looking for a friendly and dedicated Eligibility and Medical Billing Coordinator to join our team and help us in our mission of exceptional patient care.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As part of our team, you'll be a crucial player in managing financial interactions that are vital to our healthcare services. This role demands a keen eye for detail and accuracy to ensure smooth processing of billing and eligibility tasks.

Role Overview:

Charge Entry:

Efficiently enter billing information to start claims processes.

Claims Preparation:

Accurately prepare medical claims based on Health Care Progress Notes.

EMR Software Utilization:

Use advanced Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software to manage patient data.

Apex Business Computing:

Prepare and manage claims with Apex Business Computing, handling both electronic and paper claims.

Attention to Detail:

Handle patient information and health insurance details meticulously to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Policy Adherence:

Follow all billing policy guidelines and documented procedures.

Confidentiality

: Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA standards.

Communication

: Collaborate effectively with coworkers to support and enhance billing operations.
What You Bring:

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in Home Health/Hospice/medical practice billing is preferred but not required. Enthusiastic newcomers are encouraged to apply, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail, proficiency in EMR software, and a solid understanding of medical billing processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.35 - $24.52 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday
