ResponsibilitiesWest Henderson Hospital is currently under construction and is expected to open in late 2024. When it does it will be the seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It will be located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders\' headquarters. When the hospital opens it will feature:

• 150 beds
• A 37-bay emergency department
• Surgical suites including heart and hybrid suites.
• Endoscopy suites
• Cardiac catheterization labs
• An electrophysiology lab to treat heart rhythm disorders
• An interventional radiology/special procedures lab to treat neurological disorders.
• Inpatient nursing care units.

: Responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures. This position acts as a resource for Medical Laboratory Technicians and Lab Assistants. Supports and assists Lead Medical Technologist.
QualificationsShift: FULL TIME VARIEDSIGN ON BONUS $10,000Education:
BSMT(ASCP) or equivalent as defined by CLIA\xe2\x80\x9988Experience:
Three (3) years of as Medical Technologist is preferred.Technical Skills:
General bench tech skills required to provide coverage in all modalitiesLicense/Certification:
Nevada State Licensure as Clinical Laboratory Technologist. ASCP or equivalent board registration/education required to satisfy Nevada License requirements must be maintained.

• New CLS graduates must receive certification within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates or applicants that do not currently have a NV license, must obtain a NV state provisional license prior to hire and must obtain a permanent license upon expiration of the provisional license.

Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide high quality of patient care appropriately (specific age competent). Must possess appropriate people skills, organization and attention to detail.
