The Technical Records Specialist 2 is a member of the IIS Team. IIS = Immunization Information System. The team supports both the state's Immunization Reminder Information System (IRIS) and the Docket mobile and progressive web apps that allow individuals to securely access their own immunization records and forecasts.
The Technical Records Specialist 2 (TRS2) provides first-level support to internal and external customers
involved with the Idaho Immunization Program.
The TRS2 position requires excellent customer services skills and experience.
The TRS2 communicates known solutions to end-users by referencing existing process and policy
documentation and escalates new issues and clarification or solutions to subject matter experts.
Process incoming phone calls and emails to the IRIS and Docket Help Desks
Data entry of immunization records as requested by patients or their parent/guardian
Monitoring of duplicate patient records; reviewing and merging as appropriate.
Assist IRIS users and Docket users with technical problems and questions
Assist with standard operating procedure documentation, including creation and updates of standard
response language for common IRIS inquiries
Assist with immunization data quality improvement strategies implemented by the Program
