Job Description


Do you have experience in administrative work? Are you knowledgeable in the medical field? You can use both of those skills in this Administrative Assistant position. We are currently recruiting for an medical coordinator at leading univeristy in Baltimore Maryland. This position starts off on a PT bases but has the opportunity for FT in the future!

salary: $20 - $23 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 1 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

o Screen incoming calls and emails for learner program(s)
o Open, sort and screen mail, authorizing any invoices for payment.
o Coordinate meetings with medical students and educator
o Coordinate and act as liaison to the Registrar\xe2\x80\x99s Office in the application process of incoming medical students to ensure smooth onboarding process and appropriate access, i.e. EPIC and security access.
o Ensure that all medical students have met Registrar Office requirements, receive badge access to necessary areas and scrub access in the operating room.
o Maintain careful and complete records of all rotation and elective program histories.

o Send faculty reminders to complete evaluations in a timely manner to ensure continued accreditation and compliance of clerkship program.

o Notify students of acceptance, wait list or rejection decisions for Summer Scholars Program.
o Ensure that all scholars have met Registrar Office requirements, receive temporary visitor badges, badge access to necessary areas and scrub access in the operating room.
o Maintain and update the Ophthalmology sections of the Electives Book as well as the e-Catalogue

o Coordinate with Wilmer HR to ensure that scholars receive summer stipends.
o Prepare and distribute correspondence regarding Summer Scholars Program.
o Coordinate online evaluations of Summer Scholars Program by medical students.
