Overview

As our Medical Surgical Nurse CHI Health\'s MIdlands Hospital, you\'ll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency.

When designing our facility we kept the patient viewpoint in mind setting a tone for a more comfortable less stressful hospital stay. We provide our patients with some of the highest quality scores in the country in heart and vascular emergency and surgical care. Also we offer high quality care in diagnostics/radiology womens care home care orthopedics sleep and breathing disorders.
Responsibilities

What You\'ll Do

• Collaborate with physicians and your nursing team to devise and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation.
• Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy and imaging.
• Educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits, while fostering a supportive and compassionate environment.

Qualifications

We are offering a $25,000 Sign On Bonus and up to $10,000 in student loan repayment assistance to new hires who meet the following eligibility requirements .

• Associates degree i n Nursing from an accredited program college, or university
• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing in the state where you live.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Pay Range
$28.75 - $41.68 /hour
