This position requires strong communication, analytical and project management skills to support the benefit submission for the annual Medicare Part C bid process, including, but not limited to: Plan Benefit Package benefit data entry, provide regulatory benefit guidance to market teams, assist in member material document audits and various benefit analytics. Also, the person in this role will stay up to date on latest CMS regulations and assist in quantification / recommendation based on changes.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility includes the detailed benefit data entry for the annual Part C/D bid submission in compliance with CMS requirements. Additional responsibilities include:
Provides benefit analytics in order to assist market teams in selecting competitive packages that adhere to CMS regulations
Assisting in various member material document audits and various benefit analytics to ensure the accuracy of benefit details
Actively participates in team and other internal meetings and may present on specific topics
Qualifications:
BS in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business Analytics or other related field preferred
2 - 3+ years of Medicare benefits and/or CMS PBP interface experience strongly preferred
Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to produce in fast paced environment in order to meet tight deadlines
Strong technical skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
Strong analytical skills necessary for this role
Strong communication and presentation skills; written/verbal proficiency
Medicare experience strongly preferred
Experience with SAS and/or SQL for data mining preferred
