Medication Aide Technician

Wages up to $19 / hr

Summary of position

Responsible for administering medications. Adheres to the standards of care on the unit, manages the environment to maintain resident safety. Performs duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act and follows JCAHO (where applicable).

Requirements of the position

Required Education and Experience

• Current State certification as a TMA
• Minimum 1-year nurse assistant experience
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft products

Preferred Education and Experience

• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Post-acute care or health care experience preferred
