As a Travel/Contract Medication Technician, you will be responsible for providing medication management and support services to patients in a clinical setting. Your key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Administering medications as per physician orders
- Monitoring patients for adverse reactions and side effects
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
- Documenting patient progress and medication administration
- Educating patients and their families about medication usage and side effects
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medication Technician training program
- Current certification as a Medication Technician in Oregon
- CPR certification
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
