Mary\'s Woods is looking for an energetic, compassionate and team oriented Medication Technician or Certified Medication Aide to join our Health Services department. We are looking for someone to work collaboratively and provide excellent care to older adults while continuing to promote our mission and vision.

Mary\'s Woods is a premier senior living community in Lake Oswego that feels just like any progressive community in Portland. We provide residents with over 100 years of history in a 40-acre wooded wonderland. We are a not-for-profit Life Plan/Continuing Care Retirement Community that prides ourselves on our rich heritage, spirit of caring, welcoming culture, historic grounds and amazing views.

Below are some of the core responsibilities, experience and skills needed to be successful:

• Facilitate the day to day coordination of resident orders, including electronic recording
• Make follow up medical appointments for residents and assure transportation is set up
• Assist the Charge Nurse and Caregivers when needed
• Promote positive communication with residents, visitors, families, vendors and staff
• Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative relationships with residents, families, vendors and staff

Education and Experience Required:

• Prefer current and unencumbered Medication Assistant Certification with the Oregon State Board of Nursing, or equivalent experience as a medication aide or related field such as pharmacy
• Required to obtain your Current First Aid Card, CPR Card and Food Handler\'s card within 30 days of employment.

The starting wage depends on experience, certification and education.

Shifts Available:

• Day (6:30 am to 3:00 pm)
• Evening (2:30 pm to 11:00 pm)
• Night (10:30 pm to 7:00 am)
